Reptile house

Reptile House Work is commencing again after being on hold for nearly two years due to a lack of funds. Two tradesmen are kindly giving up a day to run an armoured sub-main from the incoming switchboard to a consumer unit in the reptile house. From there a power ring main will link the various cubicles and tanks including a pump for the Terrapins. Lighting will also be provided and a supply for a fan and water heater. Shortly we are hoping for other tradesmen to connect up a water supply which will then enable use of this most valuable facility.

Update - Electrical and water supplies have now been terminated and livened up. Lighting and power ring mains are operational as is the large extract fan, which will keep temperatures down to acceptable levels. The only remaining facility required is underfloor heating to the cubicles which needs to be installed before the reptiles can be rehoused and the winter months arrive. Lack of funds are holding up the final stage of the work.
